Registering for the Intervention Hub Portal

Registering for the Intervention Hub Portal is ordinarily actioned by the referring organisation. Typically users will be issued a username and password or a self-register link.

Please select which is most applicable to you

I am having issues with payment

Which best describes your situation?

I have been issued a username and password

You do not need to register

If you have been sent a username and password, your account has already been set up for you. Go straight to the login page.

  1. Open the Intervention Hub Portal login page: https://intervention-hub-portal.com/login
  2. Enter the username provided in the email. NOTE: Usernames & Passwords are case-sensitive, Please copy & paste.
  3. Enter the password provided in the email.
  4. Select Login or press Enter.

Once your details have been accepted, you will be taken into the portal.

If your username and password are not working, copy and paste them carefully, making sure there are no spaces before or after them, and check that Caps Lock is off.

I have been sent a registration link

  1. Find the email with your registration link in it. If you cannot see it, look in your junk or spam folder.
  2. Select the link in the email. If that does not work, copy the whole link and paste it into the address bar at the top of your browser.
  3. Fill in the registration form on the screen.
  4. Some referrals require payment upon registration. If your referral does, you will be taken to a payment page run by Stripe as soon as you submit the form. Have your card ready. Do not submit the form until you are ready to pay.
  5. Select Submit.

Once you have registered, and paid if payment is needed, you will be emailed your username and login. Please allow up to 20 minutes for this to be received.

Username and password issuance

Once you have registered (and paid if applicable) you will be emailed your username and login. Please allow up to 20 minutes for this to be received. Emails should come from do-not-reply@rsms.ltd. Ensure that you check your junk or spam folder for delivery.

If something goes wrong

The link does not open

Make sure you have copied all of the link. Some email apps split long links over two lines, so it is easy to miss the beginning or the end by accident. Copy from the very first character to the very last.

The page does not look right or will not load

Try these one at a time.

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Open the link in a private or incognito window.
  3. Open the link in a different browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
  4. Turn off any browser add-ons, sometimes called extensions, as these can stop the page working properly.
Does this solve your issue?

You need a referral or a self-referral link

You cannot register on your own. The officer or keyworker who told you to register has to do one of two things first.

  • Send you the correct self-referral link, or
  • Make the referral for you.

Please contact them and ask which of these applies to you. Until they do this, the portal cannot send you anything.

If they have already done it, check your junk or spam folder for an email from the Intervention Hub Portal.

Does this solve your issue?

You have paid but have no login details

Payment and account setup are separate steps, so there can be a short delay.

  • Check your junk or spam folder for an email from the Intervention Hub Portal.
  • Check the email address you gave when you paid. If it has a typo, the email cannot reach you.
  • Allow up to one working day after payment.

If none of this applies, tell us below and we will look into it.

Paying later

That is fine. There is nothing you need to do now.

You must pay and complete your course before the deadline set by your referring officer or keyworker. If you are not sure what your deadline is, contact them and ask. Missing it can affect your referral.

You can return to this site at any time to pay and register.

I need to check a user's status

Do you know the username?

If you know the username that was issued then you can look up the user's progress on https://intervention-hub-portal.com/member_status/

Did you make the referral via the Client Area?

Sign in and open the Users list. The Status column shows where each person is.

Unregistered means the referral has been created and the email sent to the user, but they have not yet paid and registered.

Registered means they have paid, set up their account and started the course.

Completed means they have finished.

Login troubleshooting

Most sign-in problems come down to one of three things. Please work through these with the service user first.

1. Check they've copied and pasted their details

Usernames and passwords are case sensitive, and characters like the letter O and the number 0, or the capital letter l and the number 1, are easily confused. Ask them to copy the username and password straight from their email and paste them in, rather than typing them, and to check no extra space has been copied at the end.

They sign in at: https://intervention-hub-portal.com

2. Check they've received the email

If you have used the https://www.intervention-hub-portal.com/register page then their username and password will come from hubportal@intervention-hub.com, with a subject line starting "[hub name] - Member Details". Ask them to search their inbox for that address and check their junk and spam folders for the email incase it has been missed.

3. If it's a client user referral

If you have made a client user referral via https://www.intervention-hub-portal.com/client then they will have received an email from do-not-reply@intervention-hub.com with a subject line starting "[client name]; Course sign-up instructions for [service user name]". Ask them to search their inbox for that address and check their junk and spam folders for the email incase it has been missed.

If this email has been received and engaged with, but the user has not received an email with a username or password yet then it's possible they still need to pay. No login details are issued until payment is complete. If they haven't paid, that's why they can't sign in. They will need to click the registration link again and complete the process.

Does the above information resolve your issue?

Two different systems are in use across our clients. If you sign in with a password, read the Client Area section. If you just open a link and fill in a form, read the Referral Form section.

1. Client Area

The Add User form will not save

Every field is mandatory: Reference, First Name, Surname, Gender, Issue Date, Contact Number, Email, Hub, Ethnicity, Age and Status. If nothing happens when you press Save, scroll the whole form and look for red text underneath a field. Two fields catch people out.

Hub only lists the courses your organisation is contracted for. If the one you need is missing, that is a setting at our end rather than something you can change.

Status should be Unregistered for a new referral. Choosing Registered or Completed stamps today's date as their registration or completion date, which will show up in your reporting as people who finished courses they have not started.

The import was rejected

Only .xls and .xlsx files are accepted. A .csv will be refused.

Use the template linked at the top of the Users page rather than an older copy. The column order is specific to your organisation, so a template from a previous year, or one where columns have been moved or inserted, will load names into the wrong fields.

Leave the header row in place. The import expects row 1 to be headings and skips it.

Fewer people imported than there were rows in my sheet

Any row without an email address is skipped without warning. If you uploaded 40 rows and the confirmation said 37 imported, three rows had a blank email cell.

Find those rows, add the missing addresses, and upload just those rows in a second file. Do not re-upload the whole sheet, as that will duplicate the 37 who imported successfully.

The record saved, but the person says no email arrived

The email sends immediately, from an intervention-hub address. Junk and quarantine folders first.

If it is genuinely missing, you can send it yourself without waiting for us. Open the Users list, find the person, and use the link button on their row to copy their referral link. Send that to them directly. That link is unique to that person, so do not forward it to anyone else or reuse it.

If you had the email address wrong, correct it on their record. Editing the address does not resend the original email, so use the copy link method as well.

I uploaded the same file twice

Duplicates are not detected, so you will have two sets of records and two sets of emails will have gone out.

Do not delete anything. Deleting is permanent and will damage your reporting figures. Use the contact form below and we will merge them properly.

I cannot sign in to the Client Area

There is no password reset on the portal at present, so this one always needs us. Use the contact form below and tell us the email address you sign in with.

Before you do, check that your browser has not filled an old password into the field, and remember that passwords are case sensitive.

2. Referral form

"This email domain is not authorised to create referrals"

Referrals are approved by email domain. Either you have used a personal address rather than your work one, or your organisation's domain has not been added yet.

Try again with your official work email address. If you were already using it, use the contact form below and tell us the domain.

"This email address can not sign up for any more members"

Your individual address has been suspended from making new referrals. This is usually intentional, for example after a role change or at the end of a contract. Use the contact form below and we will look into it.

The course I need is not in the Hub list

The Hub list is filtered by the organisation you select higher up the form, so check that is right first. If it is, the course is not enabled for your contract you will need to reach out to your contract manager for support.

The form reloads with "Error on form submit"

Something required is missing or invalid. The dropdowns clear themselves when the page reloads, so set the organisation and hub again before you resubmit.

If you ticked the option to notify the service user by email, their email address becomes mandatory. That is the most common cause.

Does the above information resolve your issue?

Cancel a referral

Client Area

If you have a login to https://www.intervention-hub-portal.com/client then you can manage your referrals in this area.

Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes the person from your historical reporting along with any progress they had already made, so a cancelled referral that was deleted looks like a referral that never happened. Your completion percentages will move as a result.

Set a status instead. Duplicate if the record was created twice. Unresponsive or Missed Deadline if they simply did not engage. That keeps the referral visible and correctly counted.

I can't afford this

Thank you for contacting the Intervention Hub Support Team.

We are sorry to hear you are having difficulty with the cost of your referral. We appreciate this is a worry and want to point you to the right people as quickly as we can.

You will need to contact the person/organisation that referred you and explain your circumstances to them. Their details will be on the letter or email you received about your referral.

We deliver the courses on behalf of the referring organisation, so decisions about your referral sit with them and not with us. That includes the cost, the completion date and whether the referral continues. We are not able to change any of these ourselves, and that the reminder emails may continue while your referral is open.

We would encourage you not to wait. Referrals typically have a completion deadline, and the organisation can likely only consider your situation while that deadline is still in place.

Thank you

Glad that helped
