What does the programme involve?
This pathway is part of a pilot scheme under the Women’s Strategy, aimed at reducing the number of women entering the Criminal Justice System.
It can be used for any out of court resolution for women offenders aged 19 and above.
This course will focus on elements of psychology, encourages you to set goals,
build and improve your confidence and self-esteem & find ways to think
differently about life & work. This course is delivered by a fully qualified course
tutor. The course is 12 hours in length and is split into 3 sessions, one per week,
3 weeks in total. This will be a group session, but numbers are kept low, no
more than 12, so that everyone gets the chance to participate without feeling
overwhelmed. Times are during school hours so that childcare isn’t a barrier.
